Shidila Lodge and Function Venue is nestled in the Bolobedu Area, “Home of the Rain Queen”, North–East of the Modjadjiskloof Town. The Lodge is an ISLE of the Sunland Nursery which hosts the biggest baobab tree in the world. We are located at the foothills of the legendary Modjadji Cycad Reserve.
Shidila Lodge began operation in December 2011, and we offer 20 rooms with stylish interiors, refreshingly large apartment spaces, premium lifestyle facilities and warm service.

“Shidila” is a Pedi word which means “grinding”. Our lodge provides a unique platform to bring people together in a hall that can accommodation up to 700 guests. Additionally, we offer a small conference hall that can host 40 people, a modern contemporary matrimonial garden that can accommodate 300 guests easily, a picnic site with a modern deck surrounded by pools and a kiosk, an island (designed with rocks) for families to entertain and share best memories and a fully licensed bar with a restaurant.
A separate guest house is available with living spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lounge for our customers to relax, entertain and work.
